I think I have a new favorite food. I’ve always loved veggie burgers and just about always order them if it’s on a restaurant’s menu. I think my love for them goes back to college. Philly has so many great veggie burgers, even the food carts do an awesome job making fresh patties.
But I have a new love in the form of sweet potato chickpea burgers. I may never want to order a burger again.
Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and incredibly flavorful. I think even the biggest meat lover would like this fun alternative. Especially when topped with lots of avocado.

I topped a piece of sprouted bread with lots of tahini and fresh spinach for an open-faced sandwich. These burgers are definitely messy. They’re also surprisingly good cold. I packed on in a salad with goddess dressing for a quick and veggie packed lunch.

I think I love these and I haven’t even tried them yet! They look great!
That sounds good! I love a good veggie burger, and soy- and gluten-free is extra nice.
This looks amazing. I’m gonna give a try tonight.

I absolutely love sweet potatoes, and I couldn’t be happier to see them in veggie burger form, with avocado no less. These are bookmarked for when I return the States and have a kitchen. I can’t wait!
I don’t know if I love the name more or the ingredient list.
Although the name made me think there would be peas in them…but wouldn’t that just make them even MORE delicious?
YUM- these sound great! Too bad I just finished off a can of chickpeas, maybe next week
Black beans also make for a tasty burger…
